Wellbeing Erewash

Erewash has been chosen as one of a number of places across the country looking at new ways of improving people’s health and wellbeing.

Wellbeing is feeling as well as you can be, physically and mentally, with the confidence and support you need to choose a healthy lifestyle and get help when you need it.

Wellbeing Erewash is a new approach to health and social care. It involves local GP Practices, NHS Erewash Clinical Commissioning Group, Derbyshire Community Health Services, Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, Derbyshire Health United and Erewash CVS all working together to develop services around you when and how you need them.

Our new model of care is called a Multi-speciality Community Provider (MCP) and to tackle these problems locally we have focused on the following areas:

Personal Resilience

 Community Resilience

 Integrated Primary and Community Services

 These themes are interlinked.

A wide range of projects and new services are underway as part of Wellbeing Erewash.
