Are you looking for an exciting new challenge where you can make a genuine difference to people’s lives? How about joining a team at Erewash Voluntary Action (EVA) as a Mental Health Policy Officer?
The Derbyshire Mental Health Forum joined EVA in October 2019
this enhances the 4 year project we ran in Erewash developing the mental health
offer. The post holder will be responsible for the running of the Mental Health
Forum and representing the voluntary sector at meetings across Southern
Derbyshire.
If you are a self-motivated, dedicated ‘people-person’ whose
passion is to support and empower the voluntary sector to enable them to play a
key role in the development of mental health services, you could be just
what we are looking for.
Working alongside Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust,
Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group the post holder will be
responsible for sharing information both with and from the key meetings to
enable the sector to better understand the local offer and for supporting
organisations to develop their roles in mental health service delivery.
The post will be part of EVA’s core business.
Ideally you will have worked in a similar role before, but this
position would also be suited to someone with good local knowledge, appropriate
experience and enthusiasm. If you are proactive, enthusiastic, person-centred
and hold a clean driving licence with unlimited access to a car, then we would
love to hear from you.
